On May 4, Aeris had a conversation with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Cynthia Muller during which we explored the impact investor’s perspective on the collection and analysis of social impact data. This webinar examined both the present state of social impact data, and attempted to divine where the industry is heading in the future.

Cynthia Muller is a Program and Portfolio Officer with the Kellogg Foundation’s Mission Driven Investments group, the former leader of the impact investing practice at Arabella Advisors, and a former CDFI staff member. Aeris President & CEO, Paige Chapel, interviews Cynthia on a range of topics related to the use of data in targeting and monitoring investments for impact.
The webinar also provides an update on Aeris’ project to introduce standardized community investment impact metrics, which were developed in partnership with the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), investors, CDFIs, OFN, the CDFI Fund, the Kellogg Foundation, and other industry leaders. Changes to the Aeris Cloud will support collection and aggregation of standardized data beginning in 2017.
